Follow-up Queue — who owes me a reply today

Not a CRM. One screen with the people who are waiting on you and the money stuck behind them, so the list can be cleared and the tool closed.

Role
Data model, interface and build
Tools
React · TypeScript · Vite

The money is in the conversations nobody followed up

I built the wrong tool first. A CRM with records and a pipeline asks a freelancer to maintain it, and the maintenance is exactly the part that does not happen on a busy Tuesday.

So I started again from the question I actually ask at four in the afternoon: who is still waiting on me?

One queue, one tap per person, and the total in front

I gave every person a next step and a date instead of a status. That way the today list can show only the ones that are overdue or due today, worst first: days late, then amount.

Each row takes one tap and leaves the list because the date moved. Emailed, they replied, snooze a week, or dead, and every move can be undone. Above the list sit the two numbers that decide whether the day matters: what today's list is holding up, and what other people owe me. The empty state teaches the model in three steps rather than saying there is no data.

Twelve tests hold the ranking and the date maths, and eighteen browser checks cover the rest.

Outcome

Live at https://solo-tools-followup.vercel.app. Today's list shows only people who are overdue or due today, and each one takes a single tap to move on.
